Empiricus is the largest independent investment analysis company in Brazil and continues to conquer more ground in the financial market. With this growth, the need arose to find a new location for its office. To do this, Empiricus chose CBRE, the global leader in the corporate real estate market, as its consultant.
CBRE's Consulting and Occupant Representation team, through its trained professionals and broad knowledge of the market, searched for and identified buildings that offered a workplace with a prime location with the best technical conditions. CBRE handled the business negotiations with the owners with the objective of meeting the needs of Empiricus. Once the negotiation target had been reached for the selected building, CBRE also provided support during the lease contract negotiations, up to its signing. “The biggest challenge was bringing the commercial conditions of one of the most desirable addresses in the city up to the aggressive standards expected by our customer,” said Marcos César, director of Consulting and Occupant Representation at CBRE.
After this, there was a new challenge: adapting the workplace to the company's needs. Empiricus continued on with CBRE, but for this new stage it hired the services of Property and Construction Management. “We need to better accommodate people and we are able, with CBRE's help, to complete the work on the schedule we set and on budget,” stated Caio Mesquita, CEO of Empiricus.
