CBRE completes the sale of 100% of EZ Towers complex with the sale of Tower B
Considered a corporate icon in the city of São Paulo, EZ Towers sold 100% of Tower B to the Canadian Brookfield Property group on Wednesday the 27th. Real estate investment company CBRE was responsible for this transaction, considered the largest real estate sale in 2017, by integrating its services performed in Brazil.  The contract started in May 2011, involving the following departments in this success story:

  • Project Development: Development + Project Building Consultancy, carrying out the project with efficiency and innovation;
  • Fund Raising: Capital Markets, responsible for the sale of Tower A to the São Carlos company;
  • Leasing: Leasing + Occupants, responsible for 100% of the leasing of Tower A and 72% of Tower B;
  • Property Management: Property Management enabled the lowest operating cost of all ventures classified as AAA in São Paulo.

The sale was the result of an international competition and the purchase was made with 100% foreign capital, thereby showing the recovery of the institutional investor market. The sale of both towers, totaling 94,000 m² marketed in the EZ Towers Complex, is yet another triumphant business model for the history of real estate investment company CBRE Brazil.
